Course description

Behavioral Health in Diabetes Care – Video Learning Module

This module provides a practical overview of the role of behavioral health in diabetes prevention and management within integrated care settings. Through brief video content and guided learning, participants will explore how behavior, emotions, and self-management directly impact glycemic control and overall health outcomes. The module emphasizes the use of brief, evidence-based interventions to support adherence, lifestyle change, and coping with chronic illness. Learners will gain skills to deliver efficient, patient-centered care that improves engagement, reduces diabetes distress, and supports long-term disease management
