Course description

This module focuses on delivering high-impact, time-limited behavioral health interventions within fast-paced healthcare settings. Participants will learn how to provide focused, goal-oriented care in 15–30 minute encounters. Emphasis is placed on using evidence-based approaches—including motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral strategies (CBT), and behavioral activation (BA)—to address immediate patient needs, promote self-management, and support whole-person care. This course highlights how brief session care improves access, efficiency, and outcomes while maintaining clinical effectiveness
